You can delete your My Little FiFi account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two routes, and neither requires you to keep the app installed.
If you still have the app
Open the app and go to Profile → Edit Profile → Delete account. This is permanent — it deletes your account rather than deactivating it, and it cannot be undone.
If you’ve uninstalled the app
You do not need to reinstall. Email contact@mylittlefifi.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. Please include the name on the account so we can locate it. If you write from a different address, we may ask a question or two to confirm the account is yours before deleting anything.
What gets deleted
- your account and profile;
- your pet profiles;
- health records, vaccinations and medications;
- uploaded documents and photos;
- weight logs;
- diet plans and reminders;
- caregiver invitations you created.
What is retained, and for how long
A few things are kept for legal or operational reasons, as the app stores require us to disclose:
- billing and tax records, for the period required by law;
- anonymised, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you;
- residual copies in encrypted backups, which are rotated out within our standard backup retention window.
What happens to shared pets
Pets that were shared with you simply disappear from your view — you are not their owner, so deleting your account does not delete them. For pets you own and had shared with others, deleting your account removes those pets and ends every caregiver’s access to them.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are handled promptly — typically within a few days, and within 30 days at the latest.
