These Terms govern your use of the My Little FiFi app and this website. Please read them: by creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Who you’re contracting with
My Little FiFi is operated by an individual, not a company. You are contracting with Umair Hassan, trading as My Little FiFi, Mechelen, Belgium, contact@mylittlefifi.com.
Operating as a sole trader rather than a company does not remove the obligation to identify the provider under Article 5 of the e-Commerce Directive and Books VI and XII of the Belgian Code of Economic Law — the required details are simply those of the natural person above.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 to use My Little FiFi. One account per person, and the information you provide should be accurate.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — pet details, records, documents and photos. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process and display that content so the app can work for you. You confirm you have the right to upload what you add, including any documents that name third parties such as vets or clinics.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload unlawful content or anything you have no right to store;
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app;
- scrape or access the service through automated means;
- circumvent pet or fair-use limits.
6. Sharing pets with caregivers
You decide who to invite to a pet and what role to grant them. You are responsible for who you invite and for what those people can see. You can revoke access at any time, and invite codes must not be published publicly. My Little FiFi is not liable for a caregiver’s actions, omissions or use of information you have shared with them.
7. Reminders and notifications are best-effort
Reminders and notifications depend on your device, its operating system, your notification permissions, battery-optimisation settings and network conditions. Delivery cannot be guaranteed. My Little FiFi is not an alerting or monitoring service and must not be relied on as the sole means of administering medication or any other health-critical task.
8. Not veterinary advice
My Little FiFi is a record-keeping tool, not a veterinary service. It provides no diagnosis and no medical advice. In an emergency, contact a vet or an emergency clinic immediately.
9. Vet Mode and Travel Pack are not official documents
Vet Mode and Travel Pack produce a personal summary you compile yourself. They are not an official pet passport, health certificate or veterinary document. You are responsible for verifying requirements with the competent authority for your destination. My Little FiFi is not liable for refused entry, quarantine, delays or costs.
10. Premium subscriptions
- Premium is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. We do not state a price here: current pricing is shown in the App Store and Google Play and is set per region by Apple and Google.
- A free trial is available to eligible new subscribers and converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. The trial length is shown in the store listing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings only — we cannot cancel on your behalf.
- Apple and Google are the merchants of record; their terms also apply and refunds are handled by them under their policies.
- If prices change, you will be given notice in line with the app stores’ rules.
- Right of withdrawal: as an EU consumer you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, which is lost once performance begins with your express consent. In practice the App Store or Google Play terms govern the transaction.
- Apple: where the app is not licensed under Apple’s standard EULA, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them; the licence is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control; and Apple has no maintenance, support, warranty or product-liability obligation.
11. Free plan limits
The free plan includes up to 2 pets. Reasonable anti-abuse ceilings may apply. If you downgrade or your subscription expires, extra pet profiles become read-only rather than being deleted.
12. Availability and changes to the service
The service is provided “as is”. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn over time, and we’ll give reasonable notice before removing anything material.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonable. You can stop using the app at any time, and you can export or delete your data — see deleting your account.
14. Intellectual property
The My Little FiFi name, logo, software, design and content remain ours. These Terms don’t grant you any right to use them beyond using the app as intended.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. Subject to that, My Little FiFi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on best-effort reminders or on summaries that are not official documents.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. As a consumer you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. If we can’t resolve a complaint directly, you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de médiation pour le consommateur) and, for cross-border disputes, the European Consumer Centre Belgium.
17. Language
The contract language is English.
18. Miscellaneous
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. A delay in enforcing them is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms as part of a transfer of the service. Neither party is liable for events outside its reasonable control (force majeure). These Terms are the entire agreement between us about the app.
